ppl advises on the first reverse securitisation in the Greek market

We are pleased to announce that Papanikolopoulou & Partners law has advised an EU-based fund to the structuring and implementation of a reverse securitisation of non-banking receivables. The securitisation involves the transfer of performing business receivables arising from agreements between Greek merchants and a marketplace platform and our involvement extended from the legal set-up to the successful completion of the transaction.

Managing partner, Christina Papanikolopoulou, commented: “This transaction underscores our firm’s commitment to excellence and innovation, leveraging the deep experience of our team in structured finance, and continues our legacy of ‘firsts’ as it marks the first of its kind in this market.”

The team was led by Christina Papanikolopoulou, managing partner, and Athina Palli, senior associate, supported by Vicky Palouki and Christina Rapti, junior associates.
