Associate – financial transactions

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct legal research and analysis on domestic and European law covering primarily the following areas: civil and commercial law, banking law, capital markets regulation, banking and other financial institutions regulations and securitisation regulation.
  • Review and comment on transaction documents.
  • Conducting due diligence and assisting in the drafting of due diligence reports and opinions.
  • Drafting corporate authorisations and similar documents.
  • Support senior lawyers in client consultations, negotiations and document preparations.

 

Qualifications

  • You have a bachelor’s degree in law from a Greek law school and a postgraduate degree in banking, capital markets or commercial law, or finance or economics.
  • You have at least 1 year PQE with a Greek or European law firm.
  • You have a strong interest in finance and capital markets law.
  • You are proficient in written and spoken Greek and English.

Team & Communications Assistant

Key responsibilities
  • Act as the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and calls.
  • Assist with the planning and execution of internal and external events, from logistics and invitations to on-site support.
  • Support the firm’s digital presence through light content preparation, social media posting, and coordination with external partners.
  • Help with document formatting and assist with document management services.
  • Liaise with vendors, service providers, and event venues as required.
  • Assist in marketing or communication initiatives, ensuring consistency with the firm’s branding and values.
  • Managing and organising correspondence, including emails, mail, and courier deliveries.
  • Handling calendar management, scheduling appointments, and coordinating meetings.
  • Assisting lawyers with administrative tasks as required.
Reporting
  •  You will be reporting to our Office Manager.

     

Qualifications
  • You are proficient in written and spoken Greek and English.You have at least 3 years of prior experience in a similar position (university degree will be considered an asset).
  • You have excellent computer skills in MS Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • You have strong multitasking and organisational skills.
